WILMINGTON, OH - August 26, 2005 - AddisonMckee, Inc., a global
leader in the tube bending and end-forming market, has been named the
single source supplier of tube manipulation tooling to tier one
automotive supplier, ArvinMeritor, Inc.
Previously, AddisonMckee fulfilled a contract to supply all
ArvinMeritor’s perishable bend tooling. Under the new long-term
tooling agreement, AddisonMckee will now supply all segmented end
forming tooling in addition to the consumable bend tooling.
ArvinMeritor uses this tooling in the production of automotive exhaust
systems.
The tooling agreement is tailored specifically to meet
ArvinMeritor’s objectives of shorter lead-times and reduced inventory.
Under this program, AddisonMckee supplies custom designed tooling on a
Just-In-Time basis. Over the past three years, AddisonMckee achieved an
on-time delivery performance in excess of 98%. AddisonMckee
