CHICAGO, IL - March 23, 2006 – WHI Capital Partners, a private
equity firm targeting investments in the lower middle market, announced
today that Andy Baker, 31, has joined the company as an Associate.
In his role, Baker is involved in all aspects of portfolio company
assessment and acquisition, including transaction modeling, financing
and due diligence. Baker also works with existing portfolio companies
to assess add-on acquisitions. Most recently, he participated in the
acquisition of Big Wheel of Florida LLC and Waste Recyclers of North
Florida Inc., which were merged to create Waste Recyclers Holdings,
LLC, a leading regional waste services platform.
Baker was most recently a Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets
group at Lehman Brothers in London, focusing on acquisition and
corporate debt financing. During his eight-year tenure with Lehman
Brothers in New York and London, Baker worked in a number of roles
within the Investment Banking division and executed more than $10
billion in financing for clients.

Baker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of London.
